Before and after: websites that needed repair
Repair ticket: the Historic DeLand website
Every laptop repair at One Computer Outlet starts with a diagnosis, so this ticket starts with how the old Historic DeLand site looked.
The repaired site for a community local-history project for DeLand now provides a source-backed archive with landmark pages, historic districts and self-guided walking tours.
Diagnosis: Historic DeLand as it came in
Archived intake copies of historicdeland.com exist but would not display, so this ticket shows only the repaired Historic DeLand site.
Back in service: Historic DeLand
After the work, the site provides a source-backed archive with landmark pages, historic districts and self-guided walking tours.
The repaired homepage now leads with “Historic DeLand — The Athens of Florida”.
Working menu items after the repair are Businesses, Events, Tours, Places, Timeline.
From laptop bench to website
A slow or confusing site frustrates customers the way a failing laptop frustrates its owner, and Historic DeLand needed a fix that lasts.
